You can never go back

I know I’ve touched on this briefly in a few of my other posts like Dress codes ladies! and Let’s talk shoes part 1 but its true what they say, once you try it, you can’t go back. I’m not talking about questionable taste in men, I’m talking about the way you choose to dress at work, or even anywhere.

I have a definite style for work: Classic elegance.

And I can’t ever change to be a little more casual. Something many people make the mistake of doing is, they get all dolled up for one day at work and then slip back into their old routine and literally let their stylish selves fall by the way side. That just can’t happen not even for a day.

I am not telling you that you need to go out and create an amazing wardrobe with your life savings now. Nor am I telling you that if you already dress a little more casually then you’ll never be able to step things up a notch. What I am saying is that once you start to lift your game, it is so important you stick to it.

Great well, that’s easy for me to say – I seem to have an unlimited wardrobe. Wrong.

I am really just very good at disguising existing pieces and making them look different every time. To get started you may need to go out and spend a little (I’m talking less than $200 max if its a disaster to begin with) to revamp your wardrobe. You might need to buy a new clean black jacket and some statement jewellery, or some stand out heels, but really its as simple as that. Just renew what you already have and start adding little bits every time. Check out my 925wear Instagram for a little revamp inspo!
