Seeing Red

I love red. I probably have too many clothes that are red, but I cant help myself. So when I was walking through Target the other day, I came across this beauty. I immediately loved it, so much in fact that I didn’t bother to try it on – I tell myself that I was in a rush but in reality, I loved it so much I couldn’t stand the thought of having to leave it behind because it didn’t fit. I also knew that if it didn’t fit, I would probably go into what I call the shopping spiral. The sadness you get from trying on or seeing something amazing you cant have, results in buying unnecessary and copious amounts of things you don’t need. Its a real problem I have.

Back to red.

So, back home, and the crunch comes… Will it fit? Size 6? Oh god. What was I thinking? I definitely don’t feel like a Candice Swanepoel  now… Suck it in. It fits. Yippee! Just don’t breathe out, it doesn’t fit that well.

In all seriousness though, the dress is beautifully comfortable. It is a heavier material which will take it nicely through autumn  and into winter here in Sydney.

My favourite parts are the bow and the little kick of material at the back. If you don’t know what I am talking about, have a look at some of the pictures. I am not going to pretend to know what its called, and quite frankly, I don’t care. It looks pretty and that’s that.

Just be careful, the back of the dress is cut out quite a bit from the shoulder so be aware that it is up to your work code standards.

Did I mention it was on sale? $79.95 Bargain. That makes me happy.

Have fun shopping

xx
